Viacom brands are seen globally in more than 700 million households in approximately 170 territories and 37 languages via more than 200 locally programmed and operated TV channels and more than 550 digital media and mobile TV properties.

We are seeking for a dynamic and talented individual to fill the following vacancy:

(Singapore)

Responsibilities:

  • Management of all marketing activities for the branding including:

Brand Marketing

  • Provide brand guardianship.
  • Develop branding initiatives via branding campaigns, brand engagement exercises and strategic partnerships

Consumer Marketing

  • Working closely to develop strategic marketing and budget plan
  • Develop, plan and execute the marketing calendar, which includes holistic advertising & promotion (A&P) campaigns and events, to launch the channel in Asia and achieve departmental & organization goals
  • Liaise with International office on operational roll out of global campaigns in Asia
  • Work with media agency to develop media plans for A&P campaigns  
  • Work with external agencies/vendors & internal creative team to manage production of through-the-line A&P creatives, event and POS collaterals: Create comprehensive briefing documents, crafting of campaign messages & copywriting and creative production supervision
  • Work with digital team to manage website & social media platforms
  • Conceptualize and execute contests, track contest performance and oversee prize fulfilments
  • Manage and track campaign budgets, including costs negotiations to maximize the budget  
  • Prepare post-campaign analysis to measure the success of each campaign for reporting purposes
  • Handle other aspects of campaign management, including (but not limited to) timeline & compliance management and contingency planning

Affiliate Marketing

  • Work with affiliate partners to develop affiliate-specific marketing programmes to drive acquisition
  • Work with channel distribution team to build a strong working relationship with affiliate partners, such as keeping affiliates up-to-date with channel developments
  • Assist with marketing-related affiliate requests

Strategic Partnerships

  • Identify strategic promotion opportunities around the region to enhance communication channels and build brand affinity with key target audience
  • Build and manage long-term relationships with key partners
  • Work with ad sales team to avoid cannibalization and develop potential sales opportunities

Others

  • Assist in special projects across brands
  • Handle administrative matters of the department  
  • Support Senior Manager in business presentations

Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media Marketing or equivalent
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in marketing & event management
  • Regional experience in Asia & specialized experience in digital / mobile marketing would be advantageous
  • Strong project management and problem solving skills
  • Good marketing communications and copywriting skills
  • Good interpersonal skills  
  • Self-motivated individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team – the individual would be required to initiate and spearhead cross-function projects
  • Results-oriented, organized, responsible and meticulous individual with strong attention to detail   
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Occasional travel may be required
